Bushman

The deserts and surrounding Africa are inhibited by a people....The Kung Bushmen. Far away in the Auatralian subcontinent we find the aboriginal Bushman. Nestled in the gem of the tropics, Jamaica has its own Bushman, Dwight Duncan. The natural habitat of Prospect beach in St Thomas is his bush.

Bushman's lyrics and vocal style has a melody with the healing effects and aroma therapy and will endure due to his unshakable belief in music as the first medicine. He erupted on the scene in 1996 and has captured the attention of the musical world in every idion of the craft.

His tune "Grow Yuh Natty" affirms his position as a true Rastaman, and "Call The hearse" (Rinsing Shot) sent a message to the young gunman calling on him to refrain from violent conduct before he becomes another body in the streets. One of his most successful efforts to date however has been the single and video entitles "Remember The Days" which was performed along with several members frm the Studio 2000.

Bushman's very strong impact on the Jamaicn sound systems and record charts earned for him a number of nominations as best new artist title for 1996.
