Anthony B

The twenty two years old DJ who was born in Clarks Town Trelawny, has been Deejaying for almost eight years now. He left Trelawny at an early age and resided with his relatives in Portmore. While living in Portmore he would "beat pan on the roadside, yuh know.....jus vibing up yuhself." Soon Anthony had a lot of well wishers telling him he was sounding good. But Deejaying as a career was the furthest thing from Anthony's mind. In fact, the DJ wanted to be an accountant.

While attending St Catherine High School, all he dreamed about was hitting it big as an accountant, but that soon changed for him when he started parring with a singer named Little Devon. Little Devon introduced him to Bello of Star Trail who saw something in the young artist so much that he took a chance and recorded him.

His first single was a counteraction to Future Trouble's "Kung Fu" entitled "Just Sniff Coke". It didn't do too well on the market, but according to Anthony he had no sorrow because "it wasn't one of my better songs."

After that song Anthony said he got converted to the Rasta Faith. He felt the need to find himself, so he went off to the hills to "get a stronger current - you know to find out what I was getting into before I did."

After he returned from the hills, he went to Star Trails with a "totally different vibes, new sounds, and ready fi good music." "One Thing", "Repentance Time", and "Hurt The Heart" was a result of that time in the hills.

The yound DJ has performed in California, Miami, New York, Boston, Bermuda, and Antigua. He graced the stages of Sting, Sunsplash, Sumfest, White River Reggae Bash, and Rockers Awards where he had the crowd on their feet stomping and screaming as he lashed out at the system.

With a smile, the DJ stated that the world can expect some more social commentary as there is a lot more where "Fire Pon Rome" came from.
